Extreme Conservation

A programme looking at conservation projects from around the world. As climate change takes its toll on wildlife and entire ecosystems, we follow the scientists and researchers going to extreme lengths to save our planet and the pioneers succeeding against all odds.

The first episodes were filmed in the Maldives and Turkey where innovators are trying to save the coral reefs and build a 150 kilometre tree corridor for the migrating brown bear.

More episodes are in production.

Presented by Michaela Strachan, broadcast on the BBC.
